CHALLENGE
Our client, a well-known service company, approached us with an exciting task: to help them celebrate their new partnership with a creative concept company. The event was set to take place at Convene, a venue known for its unique style, and would host around 200 C-suite leaders from the banking and digital transformation sectors.

We faced a two-part challenge. First, we needed to design an experience that reflected both brands’ identities and celebrated their collaboration. Second, we had to engage a busy audience of top executives with an experience that was not only memorable but also meaningful.

DESIGN SOLUTION
We handled the creative concept, staging, and production to ensure a successful launch. Our approach included designing the plenary, reception area, information station, and three immersive breakout rooms featuring six interactive experiences.

Inspired by Convene’s distinctive style, we created a cohesive design that elevated both brands. By integrating our elements with the venue’s architecture, we crafted an environment that felt natural. This design celebrated the creative partnership while highlighting each brand’s individuality.

Incorporating birch plywood strips and lush greenery, we developed a sustainable backdrop that aligned with the venue’s personality and both brands’ values. This thoughtful use of materials underscored our commitment to sustainability, complemented by minimalist set elements and energy-efficient LED lighting throughout the event.

Sustainability
Our commitment to sustainability was central to this project. We focused on creating a design that was not only creative and experiential but also minimised the carbon footprint and enhanced social value.

A key aspect of our sustainable approach was the use of renewable materials which were designed to be reused in future events. Additionally, we partnered with Glasshouse, a social enterprise that supports women in prison, to supply plants for the event. These plants were repurposed post-event. This partnership has become an integral part of our supplier network, reflecting our ongoing commitment to making a positive difference.

Break out rooms
The immersive breakout rooms were crafted to spark dialogue and reflection, moving beyond traditional formats to truly engage attendees. Each room was designed around a distinct colour theme, brought to life through carefully selected furnishings and decor. These physical elements were further enhanced by projections of shapes and colours on the walls, creating a dynamic visual experience.

To add another layer of immersion, we introduced subtle scents that filled the air, enhancing the atmosphere and making each space feel unique. This multi-sensory approach ensured that attendees were not only visually engaged but also emotionally connected to the experiences within each room.

CONCLUSION
This event solidified our position as a trusted partner for high-impact events. We demonstrated the importance of not only meeting the client’s brief but also seizing broader opportunities—whether through brand conversations or the unique characteristics of the venue.

Our approach integrated production and branding, interpreting the design brief with a focus on sustainability and brand synergy. By bringing these elements to life, we delivered an immersive experience that resonated deeply with the C-suite audience, reinforcing their reputation as industry leaders.
